Reading Pets

Cookie Making

In the Autumn Term as part of their literacy unit the children studied many traditional tales.  They then wrote their own version of The Gingerbread Man, it was called The Cookie Man! At the end of the unit the children made their own cookies. 

Christmas Nativity 

Our Christmas Nativity this year was called 'Baubles'.  The children enjoyed dancing and acting to retell the Christmas Story.  Well done Year 2. 

Pizza Making

As part of our 'We Are What We Eat' topic, the children designed and made their own pizzas.  Well done Year 2 they were delicious!

Mission Week 

During Mission Week the children studied the Parable of the Lost Sheep.  They retold the Parable through art work, then worked in pairs to make their own sheep to take home to help them to remember the story. 

Shrove Tuesday 

St. Wilfrid's Multi Skills Festival 

The children had great fun at the St. Wilfrid's Multi Skills Festival.  It put their PE skills to the test!
